You have 24 hours to set them before war starts and cannot be changed for the remainder of the war. The Defense Team is the team that the enemy will face when they attack you.

Each war team should be as diverse as your A team, meaning they should have a combination of a healer, buffer, debuffer, attacker, and utility. I’d advise against using your leveled up starters as feeders until you can replace them with a stronger one for your war parties. For now, scavenge any heroes even 1* or 2** to keep a roster of 30.

You needn’t worry if your B and C teams are garbage as we’ve a contingency for that as well. If you’re a new or low level player, scrounge any hero you can before you participate in war as leaving flags unused is frowned upon and may contribute to global warming (tis true, I’ve checked). Why 30? Because you are allotted 6 flags to fight in war and can only use a particular hero once, therefore 6 battles of 5 hero teams equate to 30 heroes. Preparationīefore starting your career as a warlord, you need troops to play with. With some skill, patience, and preparation, you too can become a war monger and decimate the enemies in your wake. However, it takes the full commitment of the alliance and its members along with strategies, teamwork, and a bit of luck to succeed in war. I know of few other joys in life than the obliteration of an enemy alliance and that sweet taste of enemy regen. Alright gang here it is, Alliance Wars, the ultimate alliance collaboration.
